Hi, Friends My Laptop (Sony Vaio Fit 15E)HDD is making this clunking sound while I tilt it down after tilting up. Listen it up Here https://soundcloud.com/mohammad-fahad-8/hdd-clunking-sound
Well couldnt get the sound... sounds like your harddrive is failing. Can you please explain the movements you have to do before the harddrive starts clicking.
When I pull up my laptop at an angle of 45degree from the surface to look underneath on the waydown it makes this sound
Well i still think that you HDD is failing. i would recommend you take it in for repair. Does it sound like a click click click noise?
How old is this hard drive ? Usually when any drive start making a noise ,it is not a good sign.. You will have to replace the drive, I would back up all important files/photos/music before it goes out..
well it is most likely a HDD.. this means when you tilt it, the disk is at an angle and the arm is trying to catch it so it can read/write it.... so maybe it is just that.. you need to keep it at about 0 degrees.. no more than lets say, 20 degrees.
