    Hello, Hardware Forums!

I just wanted to point out the new "MERCHANDISE" nav tab in the upper-left corner; that's our new HardwareForums.com storefront. We've got some pretty sweet-looking merch in both men's and women's styles, plus your typical fare like mousepads, stickers, coffee cups, beer steins, and more. If you didn't know, Sniper, our illustrious leader, is hosting this site completely out-of-pocket. So please bear in mind that when you buy something, the money goes directly towards covering Sniper's hosting costs. Thanks for helping to support HardwareForums.com, you're what makes us a great place to be!

That's so killer, you guys have outdone themselves this time. I'm seriously tempted, hope my parents can score me one for Christmas. Too bad I couldn't get Exfoliate printed on it somewhere, that'd impress the babes.

But I think that would be totally counterbalanced by how unimpressed the babes would be from u sporting a geeky computer hardware logo... and not only that (as if it's not bad enough already), it's a logo dedicated to a forum about geeky computer issues, which is even more geeky... so all in all, I don't think it would help you much :D[/ot]

[ot]Girls spend more time in chat rooms than guys usually, a forum is somewhat similar in it's structure so I wouldn't be lying by making it out to be a chatty place where cool people chill. Plus I think girls like a guys who's honest about his hobbies.[/ot]

On the other hand... worse case scenario, the woman would probably just not understand it. Plus, honestly I think AT is right. For the most part, girls really do like smart guys... In high school that's probably not true. As one of my instructors said: I think they want to be a victim in high school... but they wise up a bit and go for guys that are smarter and treat them better... and alas, we geek-folk get women eventually.[/ot]

[ot]lol, thats funny, but it also goes the other way, there all serious in HS, but when they get to college they go crazy and do dumb crap, all that stuff. I know from experience, its stupid[/ot]

    You're welcome :D

Yeah but for the most part I think it's true: girls really do wise up and mature as they get older and as a result -- what Fred said. Of course I'm sure there are exceptions.

On another note, chatrooms?? Hahahahaha chat rooms are so stupid. I really hope none of the girls I'm friends with spend any time in those...[/ot]

...The one with the spaghetti straps? :p In all seriousness though, the value tee that Fred picked up is probably the breeziest of the men's shirts on there. That or the fitted tee which has shorter sleeves, though the value tee is thinner fabric. There's a lot more stuff there than just those 3 measly thumbnails I posted.

i think HWF would sell more stuff, if they were available in different colours[ot]preferably darker colours[/ot]BTW: i would consider saving for something if they were available in darker colours

I tried making some designs that would look good on darker backgrounds, but they call looked really poor in reality. It seems our logo just doesn't lend itself well to dark backgrounds.

If you can work something up that looks well enough, I'll add it to the store lineup.
