Two of the VGA female pins of my friend's M925 v7.3 board was broken. I guess both of them are necessary for a monitor to display since the monitor connected keep on saying "No signal" error. As it's quite costly to replace the whole motherboard, I'm thinking of adding a new video card. My friend is an average user who doesn't need a high end graphic to play games or watch HD videos. Can any of you kindly suggest me a graphic card which is suitable for her as well as the cost is not relatively very high.

Or do you have better ideas other than adding a new graphic card to solve this problem? Thanks a lot!

Repairing VGA pins is actually possible, but your optometrist may wonder where you got your crossed eyes.
The best bet is a new agp, pci or pci express video card.
If your friend isn't into games etc you can find a cheap but good card on Ebay or geeks dot com for under $30, matter of fact i just bought an old ATI 7000 for $15.00 there.
