My Computer won't go (ADVANCED HELP NEEDED DESPERATLY)

    gIGABYTE lga 775 dUO cORE oc'D 1.8 TO 2.8
    The cpu fan spun shen she would restart & try again (tried flashing bios).
    Took the Power supply 2 a guy who tested it on a little machine saying your power supply is fine. (I dunno)
    Tried remounting CPU changed video card used 1 random piece of RAM .... Same deal.....
    Replaced motherboard with an ASUS, She spun & kept on spinning but no beeps or HD or monitor activity... Flashed new bios, tried a random piece of Ram & diff video card,,, same result....
    Got a new CPU..... Same result's???????

    What the fuck?

    Any advice much apreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ok when a pc has problems posting it would let you know by a series of beeps from the PC-Speaker. make sure the speaker cable is connected the right way, if in doubt reverse the speaker plug on the motherboard.


    secondly, make sure you havent got the PCI-Express 8-pin connector in your CPU socket. My means of a design flaw they are identical slots and can be inserted incorrectly, so make sure the EPS-8Pin is connected into the CPU socket and not the pci

    The problem seems clear to me.
    Two different motherboards, same power supply.
    Same result.
    Defective power supply.
    Remember that power supply testers dont usually do load tests and a common problem with power supplies that test good but dont work is the overload circuit or heat limiter.
    They work fine with no load, but the minit the system needs power they fail because the load is greater than the PSU can handle.
