Hi, I want to make myself a technician pen-drive with all techy cool tools on it, like undelete software and raid carving tools. I've had a good google search but there are loads of them, some programs look cheap but are expensife, others look smart but are cheap, which just makes it plainly confusing for me!

So, I'm hoping someone could jump in and hit me with the best one out there for my needs, I don't want to cut corners, I want a very good product for the dough for when im out fixing computers.

    Thanks!
ps, i welcome your comments in what else I might need on the drive

Hi, I recommend you to go for Kernel Data Recovery software. The software is very simple in use and comes with trial version. Hope you will get the one you want after selecting Kernel Data Recovery software.

I also tried this, it wont let me choose a folder to scan, rather than scan the whole system before you choose, which takes tooooo long

Yes, you are right that the software won't allow you select a specific folder but you can scan a hard disk partition to search for deleted files. the time consumption depends on the size of hard disk. Moreover, you can configure software settings for faster data recovery before starting the recovery process. So configure Kernel for Windows Recovery and then use it for faster data recovery.
