    Hi everybody,

I have become the proud owner of a HP ZR30w Monitor. My graphics card (Quadro FX1500) however refuses to drive the thing at the native resolution of 2560x1600. It only works at half-res of 1280x800.

Here is a brief list of what I have done so far:

    - Installed every available quadro driver package
    - Exchanged identical quadro cards (work/home)
    - Put cards into different computer
    - Swapped dual-link DVI cables
    - Installed a fresh copy of Winxp 64 on a spare drive and ran the system from it
    - Had the monitor panel exchanged by HP (drastic, I know ...)

This card is supposed to drive two (2) of these displays.

I don't know what else to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

2560x1600 is visible as an option in the nvidia control panel, and I can switch the monitor to it, but it results in a practically black screen. Not pure black as when the screen is of, but "lcd-black" with the screen is on and showing the color black ...
