Hi guys. I'm building a new computer. I enjoy gaming and watching videos. I'm ordering all the parts from this site (Superbiiz.com - Build Gaming Computers, Build Gaming PC, Gaming Computers for Sale, Games Computer, Computers for Gaming, Build Computer, Build PC.). My thoughts (this is all considering that you like gaming as well - for movies this computer is good enough): 1. You have a DDR2 motherboard, get a DDR3 one (faster, cheaper memory modules) 2. Thus, get some DDR3 memory modules 3. A Quad core CPU would be better (or a dualcore with high clocks). Go for i5 or i7. The cores are a dying breed 4. the HD4550 is a lowend card. Get a HD4870 or a HD5770 at least.
your buying old skool kit dude. old skool architecture. Core I7 ftw build a mint system for about £500. Always go for the RAID 0 as well for performance boost, windows 7 64bit and 6GB kit ddr3 make sure super fetch is enabled, caches all your frequently used programs in RAM so doesn't require your system to page file.
