    Hi

2 days ago a very strange thing happened to my computer.
The mouse (logitech mx revolution) started "clicking" the left button on its own. whenever it wanted.
few minutes later the keyboard (cordless and not logitech's) stopped working as well.
tried to unplug and plug them dew times to check if I can fix it somehow, but nothing happened.

today I plugged the mouse again and it worked. few minutes lated I plugged the keyboard as well and then mouse started going crazy again

I guess there is a problem with the frequency or something like that, but I can't understand how it started happening just now after it worked perfect for an year?

and what can I do to fix it?

    thank you

    Hello guys,

I have a similar problem and on my pc all usb ports no longer work on the hp dx5150s (slimline).

I have checked all the USB devices and they work on other PC's. I have made sure all USB ports are enabled on the BIOS.

If you know how to fix this issue, i will be more than appreciative.

    Thanks!

    AA

    Hello Guys:

    Thanks for all the responses.

But it turns out one of DDR memory chip was bad. So once I playing with the memory slots and removed the bad memory and rebooted again , Windows XP started up and all USB devices got picked up.

    Thanks again!
