Old Pentium 1 Mainboards (Do all have BIOS Problems?)

I have two pentium 1 mainboards (133 MHz and 200 MHz Processors) They boot up and allow full access to the BIOS, including saves. When I try to actually boot into a cd/floppy/hdd (The auto-detection of these devices works fine, thanks RZA)
the system refuses to continue, it just stops booting after the energy-star logo disappears (on one of them it perpetually will ask for a boot disk, but does not boot up on it). Can any one please help me on this one, or are all these old mainboards really dead???

I think u need to configure the bios for each harddisk specific
but for cdrom/floppy that shouldnt be neccesary.
when u got to the screen where it says no bootdevice found can you see the harddisk and cdrom id's above that ?
I dunno if ure mb supports it but u can try putting the harddisk/cdrom at auto detect
