my monitor seems to pick up a lot of dust and particlse from cloths(that are made for LCDs) and only thing you can do is push them around. Now this doesnt affect pic quality really but it really makes LCDs impossible to clean, if any one can give me some good cleaning tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

I usually use glass cleaner sprayed lightly onto a cloth (not paper or things that will fragment) and wipe it. I know what you mean they don't actually come off. Or you can use water but don't wet it too much, just enough to moisten the cloth.

    Just my method.

I use a mixture of 50% Isopropyl Alcohol and 50% Water with a CD cleaning cloth.

There are anti-static wipes made just for LCDs, or if you work on PCs a lot there is screen detergent which goes a long way. It's also great for cleaning scuffs off of printers and PC chassis.
