    Hey will

I am having some problems as well...
    Are you with V7.5?
Basically, I run it and after about 5 minutes it disconnects and not only that, once disconnected, nothing else can connect to the net, WTF.

I detest this little :swear: program and the only reason I am trying to run it is because some :swear: installed it on my mum's pc in Israel instead of Skype....inspite of me advising her otherwise....

    MSN?????? Don't get me started.....
    :swear: :swear: :swear:

The problem most of the time is that msn is that msn are about to release a new major version. Version 8 should be out in the next few weeks so that might be your problem.
    Thanx

It happens to me at random, but not very often. All I have to do to fix it is to click sign in manually.

I think I found out the problem with my MSN (V7.5).

I have checked and due to my Firewall's settings I have no reverse (or is it reserve?) DNS.
Under normal circumstances this is absolutely fine.
However, Messenger does not like this...... I have Sygate Personal Firewall which has 'Smart DNS' enabled and this settings cannot be changed....

Saying all that I have not tried to connect Messenger with the firewall disabled. So really I might be talking out of my behind.....

    Will check and post results.
