Second main aim is that I wants to earn money as fast as I can, so that I can spend as much time as I can with my GF.

Save up, move out, which I expect to do.
I'm also hoping to prove myself enough at work to acquire a manager position.

Plans: Leave school next month with good GCSE results. Get into an excellent college providing previous criteria was met. Study Computing, Physics, Maths and Business studies. After that, study Computer Science at a university somewhere. Eat lots of noodles in the process.

Expections: Earn lots of money, buy a house, fit the house with crap loads of network cable & infrastructure. Have a huge LAN party.

so what does "college" mean in the UK? not the same thing as a university?

"College" doesn't necessarily mean "university" here either. People can go to "community colleges" instead, for instance, which is quite a bit less prestigious than going to a university. But people here go to college after they finish high school, which is at the age of 18 normally. Cuz primary education is Kindergarten, then 1st-12th grade. How does it work over there?

    We have Secondary School - ages 11 - 16 compulsory (years 7 - 11). Then 6th Form (years 12 and 13) or College. Then it's University.

Yea, our education system levels are like this:

Infant school (years 1-2), then primary school for years 3 to 6. After that its high school at about 12 years old for years 7 - 11. We leave when 15/16 for college for 2 years normally. Usually its an A level course, which then can lead onto work or university at 18.
