I have no fan on the GeFORCE.
I have also tried an old PCI card I found, don`t know what sort.My mobo manual states it will support cards upto 8X but only 1.5v or 0.8v not 3.3v.
Can`t find out what voltage the GeFORCE is.

Can you confirm your PCI Graphics card is working? Did it work in computer A? Does it work in computer B?

Well then, it sounds as if the graphics card is unrelated to the computer problem. The PCI card should have worked straight away in Computer A.

Can you explain exactly what happens when you turn on the computer?

    Does the PSU fan spin?
Do the case fans / CPU fan spin?
Do the LEDs light up on the motherboard?
Do the hard drives spin / hard drive LED light up?

    The PSU fans spin O.k.
Motherboard is out of case but the LED is on and the CPU fan spins.
I just get no video signal displayed on the monitor.I have reseated everything
a lot of times.I have even mailed the supplier for an exchange or refund as I
purchased the mobo cpu and mem as a package.

sounds like a faulty mobo. id recomend getting a new mobo with pci express gfx card.. before u buy anything lets make sure its mobo. it also might b ram. try taking all ram out and putting one by one. put one boot up and test etc. also test to c if ram worx in computer b. 580w PSU is prob not the problem. test diff ram first.

Very surprise to know that a faulty RAM could be the reason of NO SIGNAL.
