    How is everyone getting so high? I expected mine to be slow since its a laptop, but i got 1529/583 at 1280x800... seems a bit slow!

    its coz everyone runs it on standard settings, which is 1024x768 i think.

    The default resolution is 1024x768. Try running it at that res and see what you come up with. BTW, what specs does your laptop have?

    Re-ran it on my main box again, but with Core: 561 (from 500), RAM: 1.12GHz (from 1GHz). With the default 3DMark 03 settings, I got 8795! Dang.

    Since i just updgraded my system to an A64, our systems are very close in specs Big B. I'll do some benchies and report back to compare :)

    Well in 3DMark 01 i get 15769.
    Aquamark 3 i get 50294.
    And in 3DMark 2003 i get 7613.
    Very close indeedy!

    whilst downloading 3dmark05 i run the test at default settings, as i can't change the settings.

    9102

    but it was higher than this the first time i run it when i wasn't downloading, don't know what bearing it has on the test or whatever

    Depends on the variation. If you're talking 1000 points, something's up, but if you're seeing a 50 point difference, probably not too much.
