check this, to identify your RAM

Edit: how old are the systems ? cos 168 pin RAM will be expensive, DDR will probably be cheaper, but 184 pin RAM will not fit into 168 pin sockets

just a guess but i would think PC100 RAM will probably work

XP probably needs reinstalling, how old are the systems ?

Well it says on the memory currently in there KVR133X64/128
so i guess that means its PC133 yeh so 133 mhz speed??
It looks like this but with only 4 little black boxes instead of 8.

Yup, you got it. PC133 SDRAM is what you want more of. It will be a little tougher to find a good selection of, but SDRAM is the only stuff you can use. DDR or DDR2 will not work, not to mention they're keyed differently and use lower voltages than SDRAM.

I also had some problems finding cheap SD RAM, although theres much less demand for them, supply has completey stopped so they're expensive even on eBay.
