Confused, need help... Please...

    but what if I bought a new motherboard that allowed me to use PCI-E gfx cards rather than AGP???

    Yeah thats what we have been saying, if you upgrade now you will still have to go and buy a directX 10 graphics card when they eventually come out. If your dead set on getting a DX 10 card then wait and dont waste your money on upgrading your system twice in 6 months.

    ok then, so i guess what i can do is upgrade all the parts of my pc such as motherboard, psu, RAm etc etc, and just keep my gfx card as it is untill dx 10 comes out...

    No you can even do that as your current graphics card wouldnt work in your new sytem. I think you need read this http://www.hardwareforums.com/pci-x-pcie-pci-agp-differences-11479/ it tells you the differnces between AGP and PCIe.
