Error?

    does anybody know why this error message is occuring? it never used to happen, just didnt work all of a sudden. happens on both computers too. This is the error i get, on both computers, with ANY file.

    This is over a NetBIOS network? I'd assume you have the permissions set read-only for the user accound and share in question.

    Im not sure what u mean by netbios, how do i check? i only have one user account on this computer. how would i be able to set it to allow me to undo read only?

    NetBIOS is Microsoft's method for sharing files via network. I.E. "Network Neighborhood". You can change a file's permissions by right-clicking on the shared folder(s). If you're [God forbid!] sharing your whole "C:\ Drive", you'd right click on that. Remember that there are two sets of privileges on Windows NT (including XP): the file permissions, and the share permissions.
