further problems..

    my pc has now stopped rebooting as i have 4 chasis fans and a cooler master HSF which i am v.plzed with.

    however my computer for some bezarre reason seems to turn the monitor off once i try to run anything in full screen such as a game (word is fine e.t.c)

    the graphics card is new a 9200se 128mb, and it happened with the old card an 7500 64mb as well. ive tested the card with the mobo in my brothers computer and they both work fine.

    the only things i havn't replaced are:
    the cpu: (1.3 duron)
    CDRW
    DVDROM
    HHD 1 (20gb)
    HHD 2 (20gb)

    arghhhhhhh! plz help

    its really strange and annoying a i cant run any games

    my specs for media machine:
    1.3GHZ Duron
    M848ALU 2.1
    512 Corsair pc2700
    NEC 5800A DVD 16x
    Memorex 12x10x32
    Seagate 20gb HHD (C: 5200rpm)
    Maxtor 20gb HHD (D: 7200rpm)
    Radeon 9200SE 128mb
    300W PSU

    Does the machine actually lock up, or are you just losing the display? Does sound still play while the monitor is off, can you Ctrl+Alt+Del your way out, etc...

    right i found the problem, if anyone buys a replacement board make sure you know what FSB your processor runs at by default as i am running an older version of the DUron (1300mhz) and runs a 100mhz

    my new board default runs at 133mhz and so ineffect was overclocked without me knowing! thus coursing the instability.
