I gotta reinstall it cuze when I upgraded my harddisk something went wrong (had to put the reg back :( )
Im running FAT32 now and I wanna know if I should use NTFS or not ?
I'm not planning on dual booting win 9* or something so I dont need FAT 32

And can I still use the files from a FAT32 parition within win 2k ?
Or can I move to NTFS without loosing any data ?

    thx

yeh, you can convert to NTFS without loosing of any data, remeber to use the convert option, rather than format, other wise you will lose every thing! :)

I'm not sure if you can use FAT32 from within NT, since I havent used NT before I don't know, but I think you can prob just have read only access to the FAT32 partion!?

nevermind I'm gonna use NTFS cuze now my hdd uses 16kb clusters and NTFS will use only 4kb for it wich should save me alot of space (got alot of textfiles)

Well, the situation resolved itself. Yeah, 2k/XP can read/write NTFS and FAT12/16/32.
