    harddisk cooling?

Now I just got a new harddisk I'm thinking if I should cool it
I saw a coolermaster harddisk cooler that I might buy

    Now I got 2 questions:
How can I check the drive temps(if I can using software)?
Whats the max temp for a drive ?

And yes I checked WD site for software for the temps.

There are some temperature probes, like Vantec's Nexus, the Digidoc 5, and a CompuNurse. There are others, but they don't come to mind.

Max drive temp...not sure on that one.

I've done the metal(or what ever it is) of my old coolermaster cooler on the harddisk and I think it really makes a diference as the metal becomes pretty hot, about the same as the harddisk
