    Hi,

I'm adding a second processor (Xeon E5607) to my HP z600 workstation (VA777UT). The original, first cpu came with a foxconn 463990-001 heat sink & fan. I can't find any specs on it (ones that matter anyway, and hp's search doesn't find it at all). The problem is that the 2nd CPU has little clearance between the mounting holes and the memory. Additionally, there's a plastic cover that goes over the memory and further reduces the space. This plastic shield is ~1 inch high, so the sink would have to clear an inch if it extends beyond the mounting holes. The 463990-001 heat sink & fan is 80mm, but without the specs, I don't know its cooling capacity or whether other 800mm fans would do the job.

So, my question is for anyone who's added a 2nd processor to one of the z4/6/800 workstations or is familiar enough to with them to know if:
    - I have to stick with a 80mm fan?
    - if not, what size can I go with that will fit?
    - if you've added a second cpu, which model for the heatsink/fan did you decide on?

    Thanks,
    Jack
