I'm considering buying this laptop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230111 I've been researching all the details I can find about Intel's sandy bridge CPU/motherboard recall due to SATA degradation, I want to know for sure if this laptop won't have that issue, because it is a refurbished model and may not have been recalled due to the issue of degradation like other newegg computers were. Does anyone know? (Asus Republic of Gamers G73SW - BST6)
The recall was on Desktop motherboards with the P67 chipset. all the info i can find states this laptop has the HM65 Express Chipset. so it shouldn't be effected.
