I'm building a custom laptop through Origin as an NLE workstation to be used with Avid. There are options for mechanical drives which can get a performance boost through using the mSATA as a Cache drive or as an OS Drive Which option would yield more benefits? How much memory should I go for? I do plan on having 2 drives along with the mSATA SSD so that they can share the weight of my workflow somehow. Thoughts? Thank you!
