Ok recently got house wirelessly networked with a Netgear Modem and a Netgear Firewall.

Two Novatech PCI cards in PC - one upstairs, one down.

All working fine for two days, and then stops responding - cant access internet upstairs or down. Still connects but no websites open up.

Unplugged router, waited 20 seconds to discharge bits etc, put it back in.

Upstairs works fine. Downstairs, no go. Still connects, but hell if I can get it to work. Considering calling tech support, but thought I'd ask here first.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Check and make sure you have the same protocols installed for each NIC. You need TCP/IP installed if you ever hope to access the 'net. If that's good, go ahead and ping 127.0.0.1 (loopback address).
