    Hello everybody,

We are a group of students doing a project to enhance gaming experience and we would like to have some feedback from the comunity. The device we are planning to devolp is the following:

Wrist band controller: This is a simple, easy to wear device consisting on a wrist band with integrated (really small) cameras that can keep track of your forearm muscle movements and translate them into a finger/hand movent pattern (a mapping between forearm muscle movents and finger/hand movements). It wirelessly connects to a gaming console/pc and using accelerometers/gyroscopes can track the hand/arm position in a 3D space.

Following the movements of the hand could mean scrolling with the mouse can be substituted with "wawing" your hand (like in Minority Report) and an additional dimension can be added to this by rotating your hand.

This ability of the device could be used in many games where the mouse is used or to provide a more natural way to play your games, without beeing restricted to the game controller area (for ex. you can move your fingers to pull a trigger of a gun, move your hand to reach and throw a granade, make stabing moves while using a knife, etc...).

So, to all the gamers out there, please help us to improve our idea.

    Regards,
