My optical disc shows in the Device Manager however it is not reading any disc. I am pretty sure it is working fine. I tried an external dvd drive and same thing happens. It is being detected by Windows 7 but wont play a cd or dvd. I tried other discs and wont work still. Tried to hook the external dvd drive to another computer with a different OS and it works. I am not sure why WINDOWS 7 is doing this. Please help.
