    Hello,
I have an old netbook compaq 110c model. I want to add some life to it by adding a 128 GB SSD. I am not sure if I can replace the hard drive with SSD. As far as I understand, SSD should go in place of HDD. But one of scanning tool at crucial website doesn't show me option to upgrade. As SSD is backward compatible, it should just fit in with any SATA interface.
Does any one know that this particular model support SSD

Unless it has the same kind of plugin, it will not work.. Why not just get a bigger hard drive ? You will also have to use the hard drive caddy and base..

I don't think so, all SSD now days are 2.5" form factor, backward compatible on SATA interface. The reason I asked this question was if anyone has done it on this series.
