removing ethernet card and installing a new one

    Hi
    I have a bad ethernet card on my desktop PC which i need to remove and then add a new one. How do i do this? Thanks

    Open your case's side panel, Find the ethernet card which should be located to the bottom left of the case, sticking out of the motherboard horizontaly. You will need a philips screw driver and take out the screw holding it in place to the case. Pull that thing out! Then place the new card carefully in the slow. A manual for the new ethernet card shall give you pictures on how to do so. Replace the screw, mount the door back on the case. Voila! Good luck! :good:

    Yeah it is very simple to do. Just dont ram then new card in their. Push down not very hard and slowly. If you ran it in their you could mess up something to the card and also the the motherboard.

    All this is good except that I suggest you uninstall the card before taking it out your system.
