I'm currently trying to replace my power supply in my Gateway HD2200 monitor but i had a couple questions before i started. I can't figure out what these 4 wires are and what the voltage is for them. Also i was wondering if i could use any general power supply from another LCD monitor and put it in mine. If anyone could help me out it'd be greatly appreciated.
This is a picture of the wires, there coming straight out of the LCD monitor

Thats really a messy job you know.. I would consider buying a new monitor if yours is broken..
But if you're really planning on sticking some random power suply of a random LCD screen into your gateway hd2200.. I would get one from the same monitor.. Try buying a cheap second hand Gateway HD2200 and swap the power suply's.

Not all manufacturers use the same power suply. Let alone for the same screen moddels.
