I have 3 hdds, 1 80 gb samsung IDE, 1 samsung 80 gb SATA (BOOT) drive and one WD 400 GB Sata. The samsung SATA HDD has 3 partitions C,D,E with windows XP on C, and windows vista on the last partition of WD hdd ( 4 partitions in WD). The samsung boot hdd makes tik tik sound when I turn on the system, but later on works fine and there is no sound. But the problem is that in Windows vista when accessing any partition of samsung hdd the hdd sometimes makes this tik sound when running and also when shutting down from windows vista there is this tik sound again just before the computer turns off. I have already scanned the samsung hdd with samsung's hdd testing utility and it didnt find any problems, nor there are any bad sectors found by chkdsk utility in windows. I am really worried about my data. Please Help !
