Sd Card Not Detected

Hi. I have a 2GB external SD card. I forgot to remove it from a friend's laptop a long time ago and by the time she returned it to me, I found out that it's no longer being detected by my smartphone. I tried it on my laptop, it's not being detected either.
From Disk Management, I see it's called "Disk 1", I tried to format it but nothing happens.

Thank you for your response.. I am getting this error:

 

SD card fails CRC check so that card seems to be broken. Replace with working one.
