I had installed Sony DVD-RAM Drive (H: ) in my desktop PC and I have PowerDVD s/w installed in my PC working on Windows XP SP2 operating system(32bit). When I tried to play a DVD (Original 5.1 Surround). My PC displayed a message, "Please insert a disk into drive H:".What should I do ?

Do you mean USB drive ? Your XP should be SP3 to run on the net smoothly... Does this drive show up under device manager ?

No, sir, it is not a USB drive, it is fitted inside the C.P.U. cabin-ate. Yes, sir, I could see the drive under device manager.
Sir, I had recently re-installed windows xp and its sound and graphics drivers. But when I tried to play some dvds with the help of PowerDVD 5 2CH s/w, then I received a message, "Please insert a disk into drive H:". On the other hand I am able to play other dvds, but the dvds with Original 5.1 Surround are not responding.

Try getting a newer version of PowerDVD, it might be that version doesn't support original 5.1 surround sound dvds.
