Sound card driver not passing windows logo

    HI,
    I lost my sound card driver cd.tried to download from the net and install realtek driver.did lots of time.Not passing windows logo and it says STOP or CONTINUE ANYWAY.

    I have a Built in soundcard on Mother board. Done the PC wizard.

    Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (Microsoft Corporation)

    DVD-Rom Drive : ASUS DRW-1814BL
    DVD-Rom Drive : DVD-16X DVD1648/BKH
    Monitor Type : COMPAQ COMPAQ 1501 - 15 inches
    Network Card : Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL (ICH4/ICH4-L) PRO/100 VE Network Connection
    Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.01.2600 Service Pack 2
    DirectX : Version 9.0c (March 2006)

    That just means the company has not paid Microsoft a fee to put their stamp of approval on the driver. If you downloaded it from the hardware manufacturer for your flavor of Windows, it should work fine.
