    Hi,
I'm getting a Dell Xps M1210 Laptop and I'm considering whether to opt for a geForce 7300 go or not, can I still upgrade the graphics later if I stick with the default intel 940 intel graphics controller? I'm a little confused over which laptops have upgradeable graphics..
    Thanks!:)

No, unfortunately you can't upgrade graphics cards in laptops. There was some project in the past to use an external graphics card (from ASUS I think), but I don't think that external graphics cards can compete against modern cards.

Without any sort of external solution, the particular model you get will determine if you'll be able to upgrade your graphics. Typically, this feature is set aside for gaming laptops, whereas most other ones simply have the graphics chip soldered on the motherboard or, in many cases, as part of the chipset. In general, most laptops do not have this upgrade feature. If in doubt, you could contact the manufacturer and ask.
