URGENT HELP!!!! Graphics Card Problem

    Hi,

    I have a Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) installed on my system, and it will only display 2 or 16 colours!!! :crash:
    I have tried lots of options but cant get it working.

    What do I do?? :confused:
    Somebody help me!

    The reason you can only display 16 colours is because you don't have the correct drivers installed for your graphics card. Standard VGA can only display a maximum of 16 colours @ 640x480.

    There is no such thing as a standard VGA graphics card (well, at least not for the last 15 years). You need to find out exactly what graphics card you have installed on your computer and then install the correct drivers. You will probably have to take the computer lid off and have a look yourself. It will either be on an expansion card (AGP or PCI) or will be onboard (as in part of your motherboard). If it is onboard, look for chips with markings of 'nVidia, ATI, S3, Matrox, SiS, 3dfx to name a few
