Hi I have a 754 socket AMD Athlon64 3000, which at present is getting a cpu score of 648?? I dont think this is anything like what it should be getting. I didnt have my first choice graphics card in for a number of reason but that shouldnt be affecting the cpu score. The test details can be found here. Any ideas would be appreciated. The one anomaly I can see is that it lists my processor as a Athlon64 2000 ??? dunno how significant that is.

I might have had an idiotic moment, similar processors but with double the L2 cache (1mb) are scoring about 1100-1200 on cpu score so perhaps that score of 600+ is correct?

sure. we all want our computers to run faster than any computer we see right? also, maybe their specs are a tiny bit faster than yours.
