I have a ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series. I have the catalyst manager installed. My video card frequently overheats and when I play games like EVE it shuts the computer off after a while. I tried lowering the graphics and it doesnt help. The fan is spinning but it doesnt seem to be cooling it as much as it should. I have the tower open with a big fan blowing into it. I have to keep a bottle of ice near the card so it wont shut off while I play EVE. Im not sure if underclocking the card would help or if there is any way to make the fan spin faster. I really don't care if it sounds like a 747 in my room, I just want my video card not to get up to 101 degrees Celsius when I play EVE.

Just a heads up but a year or two ago when I played EVE everything was just fine and dandy. Honestly I think it might just be my card and my computer just giving up.
