    Hi there,

    anybody got any ideas??

i disabled my integrated graphics and installed a Radeon Sapphire X550 256MB graphics card.

At the highest resolution, photos, text, etc look great.....but when i play any windows media player or real player videos off websites......all i can see is colour???.....i can see a person's outline but its as if the saturation setting was turned right up....its just a mish mash of bright colours.

Messing about in control panel i found out that i can watch these videos perfectly BUT only if i set my screen resolution to 256 colours.
It can be set to anything....800x600....or the highest setting ....but i can only watch stuff in media player if display is set at 256 colours.

This of course makes everything else look like crap.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    George

Have you installed the latest drivers for your video card and uninstalled the ones that were for the on-board stuff?
