I'm actually hesitating between the two netBooks : Asus Eeepc 1101HA and Acer Aspire one 751 What can you advice me ? Thanks a lot
I have the Acer Aspire One and I like it well enough. I bought it because it came with a 6-cell battery while most other netbooks come with a 3-cell and offer the 6-cell as an upgrade (ie - more $$). Battery life on the Aspire One is pretty good. I typically get about 7 hours while connected to wi-fi. The small screen takes some getting used to. Compared to the Asus (which I only tested in the store at my local Best Buy) the Acer feels much, much more solid. The Asus feels flimsy and chintzy, the plastics are really cheap, slightly better than a milk jug. The Acer just feels like a real notebook just scaled down. The Intel Atom CPU isn't a powerhouse but it handles YouTube and web surfing fine. If anyone has specific questions about the Acer I'll try to answer them.
