Hi All.. I am using Dell Inspiron 15 R(5520) laptop.When I on my laptop a white color horizontal straight line displayed.This line displayed from Dell Screen through Desktop Screen.What is cause of it.Kindly provide me solution of this.I shall be very thankful to you for your this act of kindness.
If it's all the time, it's likely the screen. If it comes and goes, it might be the graphics adapter. If it's still under warranty, this would be the time to use that. Otherwise, this will get tricky. The screen can be replaced, but how comfortable you are is another story. If the graphics are bad, that's another issue. Many laptops have integrated video, so there's a good chance that the graphics controller is on the motherboard itself, and very likely part of the chipset--not a user replacement option.
