What did you not like about it except for the theme?

The annoying account control, the lousy bootscreen :p , the Run-button is missing, the program-list in the start menu looks very messy, issues with many java applets, and some more things. The most things can be changed of course. But I always say "If the old OS fits all my needs, why would I upgrade to a newer one" ;) But this is just my opinion. Everyone thinks about it in his or her own way.

I think Vista has better features than XP, its certainly allot better to navigate, plenty of good things window blinds cant do, and i like the idea of it all been intergrated, i rekon all the features of Vista could be implimented into XP in the form of 3rd party apps, thats what i dont like, seperate third party apps...

    @ heaveninblack:

I removed your link. I would suggest you acquaint yourself with HWF's Rules, particularly #4 regarding piracy and links to them. If it's that good, then why don't you purchase the software instead of stealing?

Those "cracked" versions of Vista on the net have their activation data overwritten with the ones from the beta version. So you can activate using your beta key. But until juli 30 2007, because it will then expire (those versions have the title "evaluation version" in the right corner of the screen). Most other cracks are full of viruses and trojans.

Big B is right. If it's good enough to steal, it's good enough to buy.

Eh? How can you use a BETA key? Surely M$ stopped people using them?

Some smart people made it possible activate Vista with the beta key. Those keys work until juli 2007.

Vista takes just as much time to start as XP on my laptop. On my pc, Vista even took much longer to start than XP. With 'starting' I mean from the moment that I log on, until the moment that I can actually 'use' Windows.
