Hi, I recently ordered a 'Saphire Radeon' 9550 128MB Graphics card on line. The card shown on the internet had a cooling fan. The card that was delivered was a different brand - '3D', and had no cooling fan just a large heat sink. When I contacted the company they told me the card they sent was better as it had 256 RAM and because of this did not need a fan. Should I keep the card delivered or go for my money back. I hope this is enough information. Thanks.
If it has more RAM, then more heat is generated. Meaning that the need for a fan is greater than ever. So get your money back before they try and rip you. I think, anyway. You could get away with just a large HS, but I would personally reconsider and get the fan with it.
