Surely killing anyone on purpose, is either murder or euthanasia, i don't see the ethics. You can't kill someone who has themself killed someone else, no matter what they've done. Two wrongs don't make a right.
It's hypocrisy at the very least.

I think bail in the US is the same our bail.... it only applies before conviction. So you dont have to stay in custody.
 
Death sentence is bull. In my opinion it serves one thing only - revenge.
If we aspire to be better human beings we should do away with killing.
You want to deter? then life should mean life. If you want to rid society of scum then lock them away until one morning they are found dead in their cell (of old age).

Not enough prisons, I hear you say? Over crowding perhaps? So :swear: what?
I am mainly referring to crimes which ignore the victims basic rights.
Let the hard core butchers build their own prisons and then live in them.
I know it sounds stupid but, stick them in a boggy field in Wales and they will sooner build a roof over their heads than stay outside. Or just stick them in a reservation.

As my good friend Donald Fagen wrote - "...assassins, conns and rapists, might as well die..." but not by another law abiding person - just old age, incarcerated!
 
The voting seems to be dead (a bit of irony) so i guess the answer is a big fat juicy NO
