I have so many passwords that I can just about remember them, and I'm a bit skeptical about using password manager programs to protect - seems to me that if someone can hack into nasa, then they sure as hell can hack into a password program. So anyway my beef about Windows XP is I accidentally...

Anybody ever had to have a laptop dvd/cd-rw replaced or repaired before. How much is the likely cost? Mine is giving up the ghost on my IBM R32, sometimes it takes up to 10 reboots to recognise it's even there, and other times I put the cd in and it kind of starts up, but nothing happens...
