hmm...this problem sounds similar to mine, and i still havent fixed it. luckily at the moment it doesnt crash or restart unless i play new 3d games. Although it used to. I hope u fix it cos i might give me a clue as to what is wrong with mine :stupid:

i go for the motherboard purely because it is the backbone of the computer and does he difficult job of linking and coordinating all the different components.

it cant be the fans since the noise only happens when something slides in like a drop down menu. Also the PSU is Brand new and there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the CPU fan althougth i still need to reapply the thermal paste.

did you remember to put the thermal paste between processor and heatsink? That would cause serious overheating.

they are not a huge improvement (if an improvement at all) since the x-box is basically a pc anyway. the only difference ull get is the higher resolutions that ur monitor can support.

ok, my pc keeps crashing during games, usually after a couple of minutes. i have the latest drivers and i even got the graphics card i had replaced. (i had two months of no problems before all of this) I replaced the motherboard just before all of this started happening and ive tried two...

the controls were a little fiddley and i couldnt work out how to finish the mission. - i think it was just that particular mission that annoying rather than the game as a whole.

my vote goes for black, dont know why really i just think all the coloured ones look a bit cheap.

hmm i played and liked the demo but i also tried it on the xbox on a different mission and found it a little annoying. Graphics are damn good tho.
