Vista not liking my chosen drive

    im not sure really, im not having any problems with my windows partition. should i delete those? cause they seem to be seperate from the C: which is 2 raptors in raid 0.

    Try this...
    Go to Device Manager > Select that Drive/Partition and delete it....Make a new Partition out of it of around 25-30GB and then another partition for the remaining space..Then try to install window on that 25-30GB partition...

    i deleted it from device manager, not displayed in my computer, but it shows up in disk management, wont allow me to "delete partition".

    Try to delete the partition in the installation of Vista. Just select that partition and click on Delete. Then create a new one with a size between 60 and 100 GB.
    EDIT: I think you will need to boot from the installation-DVD. If you get the installation working, then XP might not be present at the list of OSes. You can change that by running this program in Vista, and use it to add XP to the boot manager.
