I am thinking about getting a new LCD monitor for my computer and this is the one i was looking at. Samsung 226BW 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor - 2ms, 1000:1(DC 3000:1) Contrast Ratio, WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050, Gloss Black, DVI at TigerDirect.com. I have heard nothing but great things about this monitor and the only question i have is, people keep talking about two different versions of this monitor, "S" and "A". I was just wondering how i would find out what model im getting if i order it becuase it sounds like the "S" Model is better than the "A" even though they have the same specs and everything. Something about the "S" having less backlighting or something. I was just wondering if anyone would be able to clarify on this subject and tell me how i would know what model i would be getting if i ordered from the link above. Also, one more thing, i was wondering if anyone has ever had experience with this monitor because another thing i hear is that the stand is a little shady. But i really don't think that matters because there is not going to be a lot of movement going on around my computer so there is really no chance that anything is going to bump it and knock it over. So if someone could please clarify for me that would be great!

    Thank You!:D

The only way would be to contact them, if they don't give an indication as to which model they will send out to you.

Yeah, they are probably the same monitor but some change they made to the panel, or the panel type in the manufacturing process, ether way, Samsung makes great units, you can't go wrong.
