Does anybody what brand and model of a 2.5" hard drive would give me the best performance and silents for the money. I am going to setup the hard drives in RAID 0. Please help if you can. Thank You!

Your usual suspects, and today, drives are pretty quiet. I haven't had a drive in the past several years that's made noise. The Samsung I put in my laptop last year is quiet.

However, unless you have a specific space requirement, buying 2.5" drives for a standard box is a bit silly. Most drives tend to be 5400RPM, not 7200RPM like pretty much all 3.5" drives these days. You'll also need an adapter to use them in a desktop as well as mounting brackets or special drive cages. It just seems a little odd to put more expensive and slower drives into use in a situation where you can use a standard size drive without extra adapters and have better performance.
