Hello everyone. I forgot the website I used to go to for technical support so I found this one via Google and registered to try and find some help with this issue. :)

Recently I put together (with the help of my local PC shop) what I think to be a relatively decent gaming computer. An Intel core 2 2.5 with a 9500 gt, to name the basics. It ran pretty good but I was looking for a bit more so I picked up another 9500 for SLI and was very pleased by how much smoother games ran. However, I have ran into some issues. The most glaring is the strange graphical artifacts I am getting in Crysis in SLI mode. Single GPU works fine. I put together 4 screenshots of what I thought were the most telling (below). Reinstalling the game, trying to use older drivers, changing in-game and nvidia control panel settings have all failed to produce results. It is frustrating because it runs great, but these horrid images keep popping up everywhere.

Some more info I should also mention is that I have received quite a few lock ups in Crysis as well as some blue screen nv4.dll errors when exiting to my desktop and changing between sli and single GPU mode since puting in the second card, but they have become much less frequent (maybe nonexistant) since I changed my resolutions to match in and out of game. When I tried to plug in my monitor to the top card, one side (next to the s-video) wouldn't work when windows loaded up - the monitor light went orange. But the other one works. Also, I have tested 4 other games including ET: Quake Wars, GRAW 2, FEAR, Call of Duty 2 and 4 and have experienced nothing of the sort.

Since my PC shop is closed tomorrow, perhaps someone here could provide me with some insight. Thanks for reading!

Could be Power supply or video card memory issues.
Have you updated Crysis to the latest patch yet?
Alot of people seem to be having random artifact problems with this game with no
100% method to cure it. With some it's fixed with a patch, sometimes it's a faulty video card and sometimes it goes unsolved.
Please give details of your other system components.

Here are the rest of my system specs: ASUS P5N-E SLI, 2 GIG DDR 2 5300 Crucial, 500W ATX power supply. My case has surprisingly good ventilation for being a mini-tower, and my cards stay nice and cool. My cards are 512 MB PNY's, also. The problem occurs on low settings across the board as well, I should add.

It's a shame because I really enjoy the game and it runs well on my system for being rather mid-range. I hope it is a faulty card and not something more complicated or unsolvable. On Monday I'll go across the street and see what the tech guys have to say. I am sure they will replace my card since one of the plugs seems to be bad, anyway. Does it matter what plug you use for a single monitor?

EDIT: I should add that the blue screen error happened again on boot up, and it says NV4_DISP... infinite loop. Could this be a driver issue? I have tried 2 different drivers.
