is there a way to have 2 monitors working on my computer and then when i want to use one of my monitors on my old computer, is there a way to get it to work on both computers by simply clicking a buttton so it stiwches to the other ocmputer, so then i would not have to put my other monitor back on my old computer when i wanted to use my old computer.

sorry if its hard to understand, i dont really know how to explain it.

Something like that, you have a switch on it that can alter which computer or monitor you need to use. I've never used one myself so I can't tell how reliable they are - using SSH or X-servers' remote login capabilities is a much more elegant and cheaper option :D
